Richmond, VT 05477 United States

Kelly Ravin plays gritty rock and roll. Equally at home in backcountry bars & big city clubs, his skills as an instrumentalist are outshadowed only by his gifts as a songwriter. Raised in rural Maine and residing in Vermont, Ravin rose to prominence as a driving force behind Waylon Speed, an “underground outlaw dirt rock” band the Washington Post called “a cross between Metallica and the Lumineers, with an unnecessary dash of Prince showmanship.” Glide Magazine and Seven Days provided…

Stone Corral Brewery, 83-1 Huntington Rd
Richmond, VT 05477 United States

One hundred years ago Fred Brauer would have jumped freight trains or stowed away on tramp steamers. He would have written novels like Jack London, painted portraits of exotic womanhood like Paul Gaugin and been a guide through steaming jungles from the furthest outposts of civilization. In these days of the jet plane, Fred Brauer uses songs, his voice and a guitar to traverse a global road from Chiang Mai to Moscow, from Bali to Bora-Bora. Ok.. Ok.. maybe from…

The Brevity Thing is a labor of love for four very busy and talented musicians. Coming together for a special event in 2014, the band -- featuring Dave Ball (guitar, harp), Jom Hammack (mandolin), Sue Schmidt (drums) and Steve Goldman (upright bass) – realized they had an amazing mixture of immediate friendship and incredible music, and the Brevity Thing was born. The Hubcats

Richmond, VT 05477 United States

“Vermonts own Hubcats consist of Fred ,Stewart and sometimes Jim.We have seen them host gigs in locations as diverse as a Birthday party for a litter of puppies (in the kennel). To an audience of 600 at an entomology convention. The organic synthesis of Mandolinist/Vocalist Freds folkgrass /blues influence, the art folk/pop persuasion of Vocalist Stewarts guitar playing, and Cajonist Jims mastery percussive style, grew into a unique, taut, compelling sound. Live,The Hubcats are undoubtedly an exciting band. This two/threesome has the…
