We are so happy to offer a comfortable and inviting place for musicians to gather and play live music here in Richmond, Vermont. At the taproom you will encounter everything from solo artists, local jam sessions, singer/songwriters and local bands to traveling professional artists. So whether you just want to sit and have a pint and listen to tunes or move to some foot stompin bluegrass, you’ll have the opportunity.
- Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month we host an Open Bluegrass session. This is a great opportunity to listen to some wonderful local artists getting together to share tunes and enjoy great craft beer.
- Open Mic Nights every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 7:30pm. Are you writing songs, rehearsing, playing for friends but needing to get on a stage in front of an audience? Slots are 15 minutes but we try to fit everyone in who comes so may adjust accordingly. So whether you are a singer songwriter who wants to play your original music or just looking to get comfortable being in front of people sharing your stuff, we’re happy to provide the space and the audience.
Info for Musicians
Musicians, if you are interested in playing at the taproom there are a few things you should know before you contact us. The taproom space is an intimate acoustical venue. While we do like all kinds of music the preferred genres are bluegrass, folk, Americana, country, rhythm & blues. Singer/Songwriters are especially encouraged.
We can not accommodate large bands or full drum sets. If you are still interested in playing you can send us an email with a sample of your music. We get a lot of inquiries and are not able to respond to everyone. If we feel like you are a good fit for our venue we will be in touch.
